After an uneven start with the Marlins, this lefty was acquired in November 2006 to compete for a long-shot spot in the rotation. A very nice 2005 Topps Update & Highlights Chrome Black Refractor card is shown here; only 250 of them were produced. According to the text on the back of the card, Jason was born right-handed, but was trained to throw left-handed by his father.
