Doug Sisk

Douglas Randall Sisk
Batted: Right
Threw: Right
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 210 lbs.
Born: September 26, 1957 in Renton, WA
Signed: 1980 by the Mets
Departed: traded to the Baltimore Orioles for
Blaine Beatty and a player to be named later (Greg Talamantez), December 1987

Broke into the majors with a bang; after his first three seasons, his career ERA was 2.12, and he was the Mets' second-in-command in the bullpen after Jesse Orosco. After those first three years, his numbers look much more pedestrian, but he still compiled a fine career ERA of 3.27. He's shown below on a 1991 Dubuque Braves card; shown here in his more familiar uniform on 1985 Leaf. Other cards are pictured below as well.
