Lenny was a firebrand. After his playing days in the US were over, he went to Italy and became the biggest star in their professional baseball league. He did a tour of duty in the Senior League. And in 1994 he wanted to try his hand in the big leagues again during the strike as a replacement player at the age of 45! That didn't happen, but it wasn't for lack of desire.
