Signed to a one-year contract the week before Spring Training 2007 in order to compete for the last spot in the rotation. Didn't get the job, but he did get the first call-up from New Orleans when El Duque took his inevitable trip to the Disabled List. Chan Ho made just one start for the Mets; he was absolutely brilliant for the first eight batters, and absolutely dreadful thereafter.
