Robert Raymond Pfeil
Weight: 180 lbs.
Born: November 13, 1943 in Passaic, NJ
Signed: 1961 by the Chicago Cubs
Acquired: from the St. Louis Cardinals in an unknown transaction, circa 1968
Departed: sent to the Philadelphia Phillies to complete an earlier deal, May 1970; the Mets had traded a player to be named later (Pfeil) to the Phillies for Ron Allen
Though Bobby played in only 106 games in his major-league career, he has appeared in card sets for the last three decades, due to the fact that he was one of the 1969 Miracle Mets. He's pictured here on one of the cards from the 1994 Spectrum Miracle of '69 set (which he has autographed).
