Originally a Mets draft pick in 1966, he was selected by the Padres in the 1968 Expansion Draft. Jerry was a decent outfielder for several seasons in the big leagues; he played in the All-Star game in 1977. He's pictured here on a late '70s food disc produced by Mike Schecter Associates, and under the stats box is a card autographed by Jerry for me at the request of his son-in-law.
