The Mets' first-round draft pick in 2004 after a stellar collegiate career at Rice, Phil joined the big club for a couple of September cups of coffee, but his biggest contribution to Mets history is that he was one of the trading chips used to pry Johan Santana away from the Twins. Pictured here is his Bowman Heritage card from 2005. Phil finally broke through as a member of the White Sox rotation in 2011, authoring a perfect game for them in April 2012; a card from his 2011 season is pictured below.
