Phil posted the best ERA of his career in 1972, so the Mets traded for him and gave him a job in their bullpen. A year later, Phil was out of the big leagues for good after posting the worst ERA of his career. C'est la vie. Pictured is a card from his year with the Mets, 1973 Topps.
