Duke was a major-league outfielder for the Cardinals, Mets, and Yankees. Perhaps he didn't achieve the stardom Sport Magazine apparently predicted for him (see 1960 Topps card above), but he still played for some pretty good teams. The Yankees and Cardinals, that is.
