One of the nicest guys on the team during his stay at Shea, Tim had his greatest day at the plate just after apparently winning the starting shortstop job as a rookie, hitting two doubles and two home runs. The second home run was an inside-the-parker, and he injured his hand on the play at the plate. Lost the starter's job, and was never much of a factor as a hitter after that, either. Still, I was very sorry to see him go when he got traded to the Astros. Pictured here on 1995 Pacific Crown Collection.
