Acquired: traded from the Cardinals for Charley Smith and Al Jackson, October 1965
Departed: traded to the Chicago White Sox with a player to be named later (Sandy Alomar) for Bill Southworth and a player to be named later (J. C. Martin), July 1967

 

Ken was a National League MVP and a many-time All-Star. He managed the Cardinals briefly. And as you can see by the card on the right (from 1965 Topps), he once hit a grand slam home run in the World Series to defeat the Yankees. Pretty good stuff.
